Service Area in Phoenix and the West Valley

We work across Phoenix, and many of our calls come from Maryvale and nearby Glendale, Tolleson and Avondale.

The calls come from single-family houses, apartment complexes, storefronts and offices, and from the cars parked outside them, on the west side of Phoenix and across the rest of the city.

Communities and Their ZIP Codes

Maryvale and the three cities beside it each have ZIP codes of their own, and a ZIP code is the quickest way to place an address. An address elsewhere in Phoenix is part of the area too.

Not sure your address is covered? Call (623) 257-5892 or book a visit with the street, the city and the ZIP code, and we will tell you whether it is in the area.

Maryvale and the Cities Around It

Maryvale is part of Phoenix, on the city’s west side. Glendale lies to the north of it, Tolleson to the southwest and Avondale to the west of Tolleson, so the four sit close together in the western part of the valley.

Maryvale

Many of our calls start in Maryvale, from single-family houses and from apartment complexes where the locked door can be one of many that look alike.

Glendale

Glendale is a city of its own, north of Maryvale, with houses, rentals, storefronts and offices. When you book from Glendale, give the city along with the street and the ZIP code.

Tolleson

Tolleson sits southwest of Maryvale, in ZIP code 85353. Its houses, rentals and businesses need the same lockouts, rekeys and lock changes as anywhere else in the area.

Avondale

Avondale lies west of Tolleson, with the ZIP code 85323. Calls from its houses and apartment complexes run from lockouts to rekeys between tenants and new deadbolts.

Elsewhere in Phoenix

We work across the rest of Phoenix too. A Phoenix address outside Maryvale is part of the area as well, so give the street and the ZIP code when you book.

Finding the Right Door at the Address

An address gets us to the property; a few more words get us to the right lock. Depending on the property, these help most:

  • Houses: which door is locked, and whether the way to it runs through a side gate or a yard with a dog in it.
  • Apartment complexes: the building and the unit number, the gate code if the complex has one, and whether the leasing office holds a key.
  • Storefronts and offices: the suite number and the door with the problem, the front glass door or the steel door at the back.
  • Cars: the parking lot or the street, the row or the level in a parking garage, and the make and color of the car.

In a complex or a strip of shops, many doors look alike from the parking lot, and the unit or suite number is what leads to the right one. For a car lockout, the place the car is parked matters as much as the street address.

Can you open a car that is parked away from home?

Yes. A car lockout is worked where the car is, whether that is a driveway, a parking lot at work or a space outside a store. Say where it is parked, its make, model and color, and where you will be waiting.

How do you get into a gated community or apartment complex?

With the gate code, or with someone who can open the gate for us; say which when you book. If the complex has a leasing office, the people there can often help with access to a unit as well.

Stucco, Block Walls and Afternoon Sun

Many homes across the area are stucco over block or frame, with doors set in thick walls and the west-facing ones in sun through the afternoon. A sun-facing door with dark metal hardware gets hot enough to swell and shift a little on its hinges, and a bolt that slid easily in spring can start to drag on its strike by midsummer.

Fine desert dust works into keyways and settles on the pins, and monsoon storms bring blowing dust and then sudden rain. A dry lubricant and a little lock care through the seasons keep most locks turning, and one that still turns hard after that has a cause worth finding.

Give the street, the city and the ZIP code when you call.
